Investment Activities
Arzinger & Partners has significant experience in consulting foreign and national investors on carrying out business activities within Belarus.
At present Arzinger & Partners renders the whole scale of legal services on all stages of investment project development and implementation. We advise our clients on the most optimal forms of investment activity, prepare detailed legal opinions, negotiate the investment conditions with other business entities and state officials, elaborate and conduct the conclusion of investment agreements (as well as any other agreements), provide full legal support in implementing investment projects.
Recently we have accomplished legal support of more than ten major investment projects in Belarus.
PROJECTS
In 2007-2008 Arzinger & Partners provided the development and conclusion of one of the top investment deals – the Investment Agreement with the Republic of Belarus on Developing the Territory of the High Technologies Park. The Investment Agreements provides for 550 mln EUR investing in the development of a multifunctional complex of buildings within a 540 thousand square meters area. At present the implementation of this project is provided by a leading investment company from Israel – Fishman Group.
One of the latest projects lead by Arzinger & Partners is a major deal between the British Tobacco International Enterprises Ltd and the Belarusian tobacco factory JSC Neman for producing tobacco goods for the amount of more than 300 mln. EUR and directly investing more than 4.5 mln. EUR.
We are proud of our cooperation with the German LEAHG GmbH Holding launching a high technology based production of baby food and non-alcoholic beverages in the Brest region.
Arzinger & Partners has also contributed to the privatization process that activated in Belarus in 2008. One of latest projects in this area – privatization of the state-owned clothes factory Motex and its transformation into a open joint stock company with the participation of a major Russian investor – JSC Tutaev Clothes Factory.
Arziger & Partners has successfully presented the Turkish Arslanres Elektrik Üretim A.Ş in negotiating the investment conditions of developing a wind-electric complex with the appropriate state bodies.
