Antimonopoly Regulation & Competition

Arzinger & Partners provides services on all issues related to anty-monopoly regulation and competition. Particulary, lawyers of Arzinger & Partners have an experience in approval of transactions with Anty-monopoly Body of Belarus, investigation of facts of unfair competition, estimation of advertising according to Belarus Competition Law.  

PROJECTS

In 2007 we successfully represented one of the biggest Belarusian enterprises – Mogilev Metallurgic Plant – in its financial disputes with the German metallurgic concern.

We also advised the pharmaceutical company Berlin Chemie (which is a part of an international Menarini Group) on legal consequences of entering the Belarusian market. Arzinger & Partners provided the company with full legal advise on the order of price formation in Belarus and determined possible risks of acknowledging supplier’s activities as monopolistic.

 

In 2010 Arzinger & Partners had successfully completed protection of interests of a famous wholesale supplier of goods against an unfair competitor. A company had implemented registration  of a trademark with the famous brand of toys on its name and its aim was the restricting of the competition. Lawyers of Arzinger & Partners took part in investigation of unfair competition. The case was finished by the decision of the Anti-monopoly Body of Belarus on recognition of trademark registration invalid.
